Swine Flu

Why are people up in arms that some countries are slaughtering all their pigs? They were going to die anyway, chances are they are better off dead. So Egypt may have slaughtered 300,000 pigs. So what. In the UK alone around 16 million pigs are killed each year for pork roasts and bacon sandwiches. I don’t see many people (apart from some of us vegans and veggies) so outraged about that. Does someone want to tell me why, I’d appreciate it!

I’ve seen a few non-veg people outraged “OH THOSE POOR PIGS!” But I end up getting ticked because I know 95% of those people will just be eating a ham sandwich next week.
Why are they feeling sorry for them for being killed because of this Swine Flu, and yet they’ll still be eating them, when this flu wouldn’t likely have developed if no one was eating them to start with.

  2. the spread of AH1N1 or Swine Flu is really scary. It is a good thing that this virus is not very deadly. We are advised to take Vitamin-C and to wear face masks.

  3. i always advice my kids to wear face masks when going into crowded areas. swine flu is really scary and i dont want my kids getting infected by it.
