Bone China

Do you have any bone china in your cupboards? If so think hard about the words bone china because that is exactly what is it. I was spurred on to write this article after finding a bone china cup in my cupboard, left by my mother who I only just figured, brought her own cup to drink her tea from! On the bottom of the cup are those words ‘bone china’. Bone china is made with cattle bones, or the...

Stuck!

I would love to write some more reviews on vegan wines but it seems I cannot get any! The ones I have listed are the only vegan wines I can get in Norway, or so it appears! However whenever we come accross a vegan wine we will let you know about it - we may not be able to get it but you just might!

Mouton Cadet

Here is a great choice for vegans, a mid priced, full bodied french Bordeaux from Baron Phillipe de Rothschild. This wine is one of the most popular in the world so it is a huge bonus that it is also suitable for vegans. Cheers.

After learning only last week that mose wines use fish bladder or egg whites in the production process I began searching for wines sold at the Vinmonopol. I obtained a brochure which told me everything I needed to know about the wine except if it was...

What is in wine?

You’d be surprised….Like many I thought wine was pretty much just grapes… Sugar? Yes, maybe just a bit, or maybe a good few spoonfuls giving some wines the same sugar content as jam, flavourings, egg white, milk, pesticides…? And how will you know considering wine producers do not need to list their ingredients on the bottle? I am about to research this issue and will let you know my...
